Member Spotlight – Peytyn’s Story

“I can do anything….!” Life Changing!


I am so excited to share with you our April Member of the Month!

Peytyn has been a Body T member for just 3 months but has shown what it takes to achieve goals and ultimately change her life. She has been super committed to her goals and her “can do” attitude is contagious.

With what we’ve seen already from her in the last few months… I can’t wait to see her continued success and results in the months to come!

Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?

It’s really a bible verse that is the basis for my ‘I can’ attitude. “I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 This usually runs through my head as “I can do anything….!”

Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?

I am competitive and I need to know “I can”. So when I don’t want to do something or need a break –I just get dressed, drive to Body T and by that point –I must go ahead with the day. My mindset from day one has been “I can do anything for 1 day”; then, “I can do anything for 4 minutes”; etc. I am committed to one step each moment until…

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?

I’m a Mom, Wife, Pastor, Non-Profit founder/Executive DIrector, and a workaholic trying to reform. I have a passion for children and youth and spend much of my time and efforts on encouraging, mentoring, and feeding children. I also have used my passions as excuses.

I have neglected me for awhile and I have not made time to workout or destress. I made many excuses. I recently (2015) finished a Master’s degree, lost my Mom and Mother-In-Law over a 6 month period. Eventually, I decided enough was enough and felt like this was my place for change.

Body T is a program I watched on Facebook and other social media for over a year before I decided to give it a try. I was not sure if I was passed the point of being able to complete the workouts. There was something about the 28-Day Challenge, I knew I could do anything for 28 days. So, here we are 3 months later.

Q: How has Body Therapeutix made a difference in your life?

Body T has given me confidence to try things I don’t think I can do. I feel more confident and stronger in my daily activities. I have so much more energy and feel great. Many aches and pains have disappeared on a daily basis. I am no longer addicted to caffeine or sugar. I have lost 20 LBS. and 7% body fat along with 15+ inches in 3 months. I can wear clothes that did not even fit well when I got them. Body T has given me so much it’s hard to explain.

Q: What is your “word” of the year?!


Q. What made you decide to want to join Body Therapeutix?

I wanted to feel more confident and stronger. I needed to take time to focus on me and my health and wellness. I was tired–rundown–stressed—and overweight. I could function but I was not energetic most of the time. I felt like so much time with family and friends was slipping away. My self image was at a all time low.

Q. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?

Decide to make a change for you. Decide you want to do things you can’t believe you can do. Decide you want to be part of a community that encourages you to be better every day. Then, try 1 day. Believe you can do anything for 4 minutes. Believe you can do anything 3-4 times a week (rain or shine). Believe you can do anything for 28 days. Believe you can do it again, and again, and again…..until you can’t imagine not showing up everyday.
